  • Novus Foundation Halloween Party

    Join the Novus Foundation for our annual Halloween Party Fundraiser on Friday, October 23rd, from 7 to 11 p.m. at The Tavern at the Sun Inn. The party will be on all three floors of the building, with Scottie Prime behind the bar, Miss Mann doing tarot card readings, as well as a tented dance floor on the patio with DJ Das Wuff, and an official Halloween Costume Contest hosted by iconic drag queen Elektra Fearce St. James! This will be the party of the year, and you won't want to miss it. All proceeds raised go to the Novus Foundation to ensure EVERYONE has access to equitable healthcare for the prevention, testing, and treatment of sexually transmitted infections like HIV and Hepatitis C.

        Ticket Sales – All Sales Final
        All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to weather conditions, scheduling changes, illness, personal emergencies, or acts of God. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to accept all risks associated with attendance, including unforeseen changes or disruptions outside of the Foundation’s control.

        Event Postponement or Cancellation
        In the event of inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to natural disasters, public health emergencies, venue restrictions, or civil disturbances), every reasonable effort will be made to proceed with the event safely or to reschedule it. However, ticket refunds will not be issued in the event of postponement, cancellation, or required modifications.

        Open Bar Wristbands – No Refunds or Transfers
        Wristbands for open bar access are non-refundable under all circumstances, including but not limited to:

        Failure to attend (“no-show”)
        Purchase by or for someone under 21
        Failure to present valid government-issued photo ID
        Ejection from the event for violation of rules or intoxication
        Venue closures, acts of God, or event disruptions
        Wristbands are non-transferable once issued and may not be shared or resold.

        Conduct & Compliance
        All guests must comply with Foundation policies, venue rules, and applicable laws. The Novus ACS Foundation reserves the right to remove any individual from the event without refund for behavior deemed disruptive, unsafe, or non-compliant with alcohol or venue policies.

        Acknowledgment
        By purchasing entry or wristbands, you acknowledge and accept these terms. All proceeds benefit the Novus ACS Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 85-3029590), supporting health equity through STI/HIV/HCV prevention, testing, and education.
